Glad to hear that! I don’t think you can purchase the boat ticket online, but you will find the ticket booth at the Port of Genoa, not far from Eataly. Keep in mind that the boat runs from the end of March to the end of October, depending on the weather conditions (these past weeks have been crazy!). Hope it helps and enjoy your trip to Portofino!

Hey! Yeah we are travelling by train to Santa Margherita Ligure-Portofino train station and I looked up eelway and nannybag but they dont have any luggage disposal… but thanks for the info! I will keep looking up! Best wishes!

If so, you are probably arriving at the Santa Margherita Ligure-Portofino train station and you can store the luggage there. Look up eelway Portofino. I haven’t tried this particular one, but I have used nannybag before and never had a problem. Hope it helps!

Sounds like a lovely place to visit and actually combine with Cinque Terre. I love Ligurian food, particularly the anchovies, pesto and delicious wines. The sea views look amazing and the itinerary you describe sounds very relaxing. Hope to visit one day.
